SkyeBrowse pricing at a glance
The figures come from SkyeBrowse's public pricing page, checked in October 2026 and shown in USD. SkyeBrowse can change them at any time, so ask for a quote in writing before you commit.
| Tier | Price | Billing | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | None | 2 models kept for 30 days, no exports |
| Commercial | $24.99 per model | Monthly | Up to 5 users, up to 3 videos per model, no exports, 3 months of storage |
| Pro | $49.99 per model | Monthly, about 20% off on annual prepay | LAZ, GLB, GeoTIFF and CAD exports, topographic maps, 1 year of storage |
| Public Safety and Enterprise | $199 per model | Yearly, 25 model minimum, $4,975 a year | Unlimited users, 5 years of storage, chain of custody and CJIS tools |
Notice the pattern: the cheap tier has no exports. A contractor who needs a GeoTIFF or a CAD file is on Pro, so the real starting price for survey work is $49.99 a model, not $24.99.
How much does SkyeBrowse cost a month?
It depends on the number of models, because SkyeBrowse bills per model with no monthly cap. Five Pro models cost about $250 a month, 17 cost about $850 and 30 cost $1,500. With annual prepay at roughly 20% off, the same volumes come to about $200, $680 and $1,200. A team that flies one site a week for four sites sits near 17 models a month.
What a contractor flying 4 sites a week pays
Take a US site contractor with four active jobs. A pilot flies each site once a week for progress, stockpile counts and pay application quantities, about 17 maps a month and 5,100 images at roughly 300 photos a map.
| Cost | SkyeBrowse Pro, monthly | SkyeBrowse Pro, annual prepay | DroneMapping Team |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 maps a month | $250 | About $200 | $249 flat |
| 17 maps a month | $850 | About $680 | $249 flat |
| 30 maps a month | $1,500 | About $1,200 | $249 flat, up to 15,000 images |
| Over 3 years at 17 a month | $30,594 | About $24,475 | $4,464 on yearly billing |
| People who can work in it | Up to 5 users | Up to 5 users | 10 seats plus view links |
| Data kept | 1 year per model | 1 year per model | While you subscribe |
The break-even is low. Against Pro at $49.99, a flat $249 plan wins from the sixth map in a month. Against Commercial at $24.99, which cannot export, it wins from about the tenth.
When SkyeBrowse costs less than a flat plan
Per-model pricing is the better deal in four cases:
- You document a few scenes a month, such as crashes, fires or insurance claims, and a handful of models fits inside $250.
- You capture with a phone, an action camera or a 360 camera as often as a drone, which a photo mapping platform does not accept.
- You need courtroom diagrams, chain of custody or CJIS compliance, which are SkyeBrowse's strength.
- You want a quick 3D walkaround of a roof or a building more than a surveyed terrain model.
If that is your work, stay on it. Per-incident pricing matches per-incident revenue.
What you do not get for $49.99 a model
SkyeBrowse's pricing page lists a volume tool and topographic maps on Pro, but it lists no ground control or checkpoint report and no cut and fill against a design surface. Survey firms that sign their deliverables usually set control or checkpoints, because an RMSE report against independent points is what proves the accuracy to a client. Earthworks contractors need the difference between today's ground and the design, not just the volume of one pile. If those are your outputs, compare the tools on outputs first and price second. Our SkyeBrowse alternative page lines up the features row by row.
Hidden costs on a per-model bill
Per-model billing adds three costs that a monthly plan does not:
- A busy season costs more than a slow one, so the budget for a progress program is hard to fix in advance.
- Models expire, after 3 months on Commercial and 1 year on Pro, so a project that runs 18 months loses its first flights unless you export them.
- Each model is its own charge, so the monthly statement has as many lines as flights. If your bookkeeper codes every one to a job, scanning each model receipt into QuickBooks removes the retyping.
What a flat plan includes
DroneMapping turns geotagged JPEGs from any mapping drone into an orthomosaic, DSM and DTM, contours, stockpile volumes, cut and fill and a GCP accuracy report in the browser. Starter is $99 a month with 3 seats and 3,000 processed images, Team is $249 a month with 10 seats and 15,000 images, and Business is $599 a month with 25 seats and 50,000. One flight takes up to 500 photos, and we do not process video, so a crew that captures scenes on a phone should keep SkyeBrowse for that. The drone mapping pricing page lists every plan, and drone progress monitoring software shows how weekly flights stack into a timeline.
