DroneMapping

PIX4Dcatch price, subscription cost and what a survey team pays over 3 years

PIX4Dcatch Pro costs $1,590 a year when billed yearly, according to Pix4D's pricing page in October 2026, and the bundle with PIX4Dcloud Pro is $6,080 a year. Pro covers GPS georeferencing, ground control points, Gaussian splatting, AR point display and volume computation from a phone or a scanning kit. Kits with an RTK receiver are listed as price upon request. PIX4Dcatch captures on the ground, so it does not replace drone mapping for sites you survey from the air. For terrain, volumes and progress from drone flights, see our PIX4Dcloud alternative page, where Team is $1,488 a year with 10 seats.

PIX4Dcatch price at a glance

Prices come from the PIX4Dcatch pricing page on pix4d.com, checked in October 2026 in USD, billed yearly and excluding taxes. Pix4D changes plans and bundles, so confirm the figure on your own quote.

PIX4Dcatch Pro $1,590 a year, about $132 a month GPS georeferencing, GCPs and marks, Gaussian splatting, AR display, volume computation, automatic GCP and tie point detection
PIX4Dcatch Pro with PIX4Dcloud Pro $6,080 a year, about $507 a month Everything in Pro plus cloud processing, storage, sharing, timeline, auto GCPs, CAD overlay, 2D and volume comparison, 2,500 credits
Scanning kits with Bad Elf, Topcon, Trimble or Emlid receivers Price upon request A PIX4Dcatch Professional license plus an RTK receiver, with 500 or 1,500 cloud credits depending on term
DroneMapping Team $1,488 a year Orthomosaic, surfaces, contours, volumes and cut and fill from drone photos, 10 seats

Resellers list the monthly and three-year versions at other numbers, and some show UK pounds. Those are third-party listings and may be older or regional. Use the figure on Pix4D's own page for a 2026 budget.

How much does PIX4Dcatch cost?

PIX4Dcatch Pro costs $1,590 a year on the yearly plan, which Pix4D shows with a $318 saving. The monthly and three-year options exist, but the page does not print their amounts, so ask for the number before you commit. The cloud bundle at $6,080 a year is nearly four times the Pro price, so check whether you need cloud processing at all or only the capture app.

Pix4D lets you try the app for free. The page gives no terms for the trial, so run it on an area you already measured and compare the numbers.

Does the PIX4Dcatch price include RTK?

No. RTK scanning kits are sold separately and listed as price upon request, and Pix4D's support pages say the NTRIP correction service is not included in the subscription. Budget for the receiver and a correction subscription on top of the license if you need centimeter accuracy.

The costs that are not on the PIX4Dcatch price page

The license is the line everyone compares. For a survey team it is rarely the biggest line. Three questions decide the total.

Which hardware do you need? A phone alone gives a lower accuracy. An RTK receiver and a mount are extra, and their price is on request.

How do results reach the office? Processing and sharing draw on cloud credits. The Pro plan alone does not include the 2,500 credits that come with the $6,080 bundle.

How many people capture? Check whether a subscription covers one device or one user before you multiply it by your crew.

The Pro line assumes one subscription per person, which Pix4D's page does not confirm. The cloud bundle is a single price, so its three-year figure is three times $6,080. These tools do different jobs: PIX4Dcatch is for scanning facades, trenches and interiors up close, while a drone covers acres. Many firms use both, and the question is whether a cloud platform for the drone side costs $1,488 or $4,490 and more.

When the PIX4Dcatch price is worth paying

PIX4Dcatch is good value when you scan trenches, utilities, facades or small areas up close, when RTK on a phone replaces a total station for as-builts, and when one person does the capturing.

It is poor value when the work is large open ground such as a quarry, a subdivision or a stockpile yard. A drone covers that in one flight, and DroneMapping Team gives your whole office a map, surfaces and volumes from the same photos. Pick the drone platform first if your sites are measured in acres, then add a scanner only if you have close-range work. When the as-built scans end up in a closeout package, a tool that builds the package from the specs, such as construction submittal software, handles the paperwork around them.

Does PIX4Dcatch replace a drone?

No. A phone or handheld kit captures what you walk past, up to a few hundred feet per scan. A drone captures a whole site from above in minutes. For volumes of large piles and earthwork progress, use drone photos. For close detail such as utilities or a facade, use a scanner.

Is PIX4Dcatch cheaper than PIX4Dcloud?

Pro for PIX4Dcatch is $1,590 a year, and PIX4Dcloud Starter is $1,290 a year. They are different products: PIX4Dcatch captures and measures on site, and PIX4Dcloud processes and shares drone and ground data in the browser. See our PIX4Dcloud alternative page for credits and a full comparison.
