Dronemapping

Agriculture drone software for field maps and crop health

Upload a field flight and get a sharp orthomosaic, an elevation model and, from a multispectral camera, NDVI and NDRE maps with statistics per zone. Send the grower a link they open on a phone at the edge of the field.

Field maps

Field orthomosaics from any mapping drone

An RGB orthomosaic is the base layer for almost every field decision: stand gaps, weed patches, washouts, lodging and equipment damage are easier to see from a stitched, georeferenced map than from single photos. Dronemapping builds it from geotagged JPEGs in the cloud and opens it in the browser, on every plan.

  1. 01

Orthomosaic exported as GeoTIFF, JPG, PNG or KML

  2. 02

Digital surface model (DSM) and terrain model (DTM) for drainage and low spots

  3. 03

Area and perimeter measurements for problem patches

  4. 04

CSV export of every measurement for your records

Plant health

NDVI and NDRE from multispectral cameras

On Business, multispectral flights are processed band by band into reflectance maps and vegetation indices. NDVI compares near infrared with red and is the usual first look at canopy vigor. NDRE uses the red edge band and stays more sensitive later in the season, when a dense canopy saturates NDVI.

  • NDVI, NDRE and other plant health indices
  • Colour ramps you can adjust to stretch the useful range
  • Index maps exported as GeoTIFF for your farm management or GIS software

An index is a relative measure. It shows where plants differ, not why. Pair the map with a field walk or tissue samples before a treatment decision.

Zonal statistics

Zonal statistics per field and per management zone

Draw or import zones and get the mean, minimum, maximum and spread of the index inside each one. That turns a colourful map into a table an agronomist can compare across fields and across flights.

  1. 01

Statistics per field, per zone or per trial plot

  2. 02

Compare the same zone between two flight dates on the progress timeline

  3. 03

Export the table as CSV for a prescription workflow or a report

Working with growers

Share maps with growers and farm managers

Growers open the orthomosaic and the index maps from a view link in any browser, with no seat and no app to install. On Team and above the share page carries your consultancy's logo and colours, and comments and annotations mark the spots to scout. Business adds project roles, so each grower sees only their own fields.

Try it first

Check your own field flight in the demo

Drop a set of flight photos into the demo and it reads the metadata in your browser: camera, altitude, ground sampling distance, footprint per image and estimated overlap. Your photos stay on your device. You can also measure a sample field surface.

Pricing

The plan for an ag consultancy

Multispectral processing, NDVI, NDRE and zonal statistics are part of Business at $599 per month or $5,990 per year, with 50,000 processed images a month, a priority queue, 25 seats and 2 TB of storage. Farms that only need RGB field maps and measurements start on Starter at $99 per month.

Questions

Agriculture drone software FAQ

Multispectral cameras that save calibrated, georeferenced band images work, including the integrated multispectral cameras on common agricultural mapping drones. Capture a calibration panel before and after the flight when your camera supports it.

A true NDVI needs a near infrared band. From RGB photos you get a sharp orthomosaic and a surface model, which already show stand gaps, weeds and drainage issues.

It depends on what you need to see. Higher flights cover more acres per battery, lower flights resolve individual plants. The ground sampling distance calculator shows the resolution for your camera and altitude.

Each captured image counts once toward the monthly quota. A multispectral camera saves one image per band, so a five band capture uses more of the quota than an RGB flight of the same field.
